Dog Foster Carer Volunteer

We are looking for volunteer foster carers to provide a safe, calm, and loving temporary home for dogs.

These dogs have either been signed over to Raystede and could benefit from a home environment until they are adopted, or they are part of our Break Away scheme.

The length of fostering varies depending on the individual dogs’ needs but is usually for around 3 months or until the dog finds a new home.

During this time, we ask foster carers to provide all the care and attention that an owner would. Raystede will supply all the food, equipment, and veterinary care that you’ll need to foster dogs.

The aim of the role is to provide a caring home environment, including continuing training and monitoring/treatment of the dog’s health.
